I've seen caps with "n", like those yellow box caps.

Don't forget "MFD" and "mmF" :) That it jumps every three zeros
seems intuitive enough, but it isn't used consistently. For some
inexplicable reason, engineers don't like nanofarads. You never see
a 100 Ohm resistor called .1K
