Yes, but then we would not have YOUR perspective. <grin>

I certianly did. This is one of the things that turned me against it
especially for a newbie like myself. Heck, most of the time I don't even
know what I want (until Paul tells me). <grin> If I was a seasoned
modular user, I might be attracted to a serge panel and a fairly cost
effective way to get a lot of stuff into a small space. But, I can only
afford one modular, and when choosing only one system, MOTM is clearly, THE
choice.

I have all of these except the 2720 and 4740. All of these are no longer
available. A synth comparison of these and MOTM would be like comparing a
bicycle to a limo (no offense intended to your comparison or to John) when
looking for transportation. John's market is to those that want cheap as
the primary purchase driver. John has some new stuff coming out, but it
will not be like this old stuff. He has combined EG functions in the
modules to let you get a basic system with only a few modules. However,
much of his stuff is still "coming soon." Coming soon at PAiA can mean
"coming not so soon." Again, no offense meant to John, but them are the
facts as they say. I waited almost 2 years from the time the MIDI2CV8
appeared in the catalog as "coming soon" until delivery actually occurred.
I would be interested to know the original list prices of those PAiA kits
if you have time to pass that info along from the catalog.
