no, you are doing it right. We're supposed to fill in the via holes before the final wash. WhatI was referring to was what you do if you are passed that point. Younever want to use the organic if you can't wash it.

I solder all the vias holes with organic, but I do it before the
finalwash. The organic seems to flow better. I am very careful to
not solderthe remaining holes which are to get wires etc.
Yeah, I knowI'm not following the directions.
As far asthe caps, I think its because the leads are very thin and
fragile andmight break off when scrubbing.
