OK, I met for 2 hours tonight with the cabinet maker. I have updated the
page with pricing for 24U wide cabinet kits. As promised they are $75 to
$125 cheaper than finished dot com cabinets. And, of course, they are the
correct size for MOTM format modules. ALL cabinets will be walnut on the
outside. Some of the internal bracing may be other woods as appropriate. We
have not come to a firm understanding on prices for various widths. However,
I can tell you that most of the cost is labor. So, I do not see much, if
any, price difference in the various widths.
Some straight cabinets will be built and shipped first. So, if you order a
slant and a straight you may get the straight cabinet considerably earlier.
I am estimating shipping of all types of cabinets in June or July.
