Thanks for all the responses guys,
I now know that I'm psychicly linked with the Great God of Analog -
ohmmmmmmm.
Turns out that there's a fest in Grayslake this Sunday! (thanks to
GARE II) I swear - I did not know this...now I'm all creeped out...
Paul - funny on the RRs a Ham! Actually my only relation to Ham guys
is that I used to have to go do lectures for them when I did radio/TV
interference location for the utility - I still work there - but do
not do that anymore. I have a particular viewpoint of Ham operators
that would definitely prove I am not one.
The only thing that I could ever see, that these guys did, was to
do "end-of-the-world" scenarios on a yearly basis (like the guys down
south who recreate the Civil War drama)and mock up emergency
communication posts to assist the gov. when the bombs start
dropping...Also - there was never one Ham-dude under the age of
seventy, when I did my lectures to packed halls - and I always
wondered how are these guys gonna save us?...with Geritol IVs and
such, scattering to the fields to erect their Dipoles?
OK - I'm just goofing - for any Hams out there - I'm sure there are
possibly many and I don't want to truly offend...
Well - after gazing at MSNBC today - guess I need to eat my words
anyways and hope we'll never need to rely on them for what would be,
an extremely important thing!
Now - with my still up-in-the-air schedule, as far as going to AHMW
on Sat. - now I've got to just tell the wife I'm leaving early
Sat.,"see ya Sun. nite." This will not gonna go over well...
Oh Gawd - the stress of it all....
Lastly - a post questioning the purpose of a 'sub-oscillator'
well "these are just oscillators that fill-in when the main one is
sick"
And something about 'nylon hardware'...isn't that a garter-belt???
Ok I'll stop - have a great weekend everyone - don't watch too much TV
