I get mine at Lowes in the specialty hardware. I cannot say it is cheap. I
just buy it and don't look. :)

I've used RadioShack 276-1381 10mm Insulated Standoffs for all of my DIY
projects that mount boards to Stooge brackets. They come 4 to a package
with eight 3-2 x 5mm screws and washers.
