Analogue Heaven Mid-West (AHMW) Gathering 2003 is on
again for this year.
The date this year is March 29th and it is in NE
Indiana.
What a great event! I have only been once, but I had
a great time. Larry usually goes every year and Old
Crow made it for his first time last year.
What an awesome opportunity so see some incredible
equipment (including lots of MOTM!) and meet lots of
cool people. The people come in literally from all
over the United States--synth designers, sound
designer, colletors, gurus.
This really doesn't have an Analogue Heaven feel to it
fortunately. None of the little kids who generate the
noise on the list show up. People who are seriously
into synths do come.
Make sure you bring some of your unique or cool
equipment with you--lots of show-and-tell, performing,
jamming, talking, experimenting. This is really the
premiere analog synth gathering in the country,
possibly the world.
