Hi all,
To me, the primary (hey, a pun!) advantage with having different color
cables is the ability to instantly know where each cable is patched to. I
like not having to worry about following cable "rules" when patching too.
It's enough for me just to keep track of all the signal routings. :)
Oh yeah, just to mention to everyone...last week I added a second tier to my
modular. It's a temporary thing, and looks home brew, but I'm having a BLAST!
The rack is two rows of 60 inches across...and I already need another tier.
:)

PS I received my Alco knobs from Carlton Bates and had no problems. It's a
great deal (1.08 a knob for 50ea.).
