Subject: More cable clarification

Sorry about all the bandwidth. But, it seems that my photos may have cause
a little confusion. The plan is for the heat shrink to go inside the barrel
unless you specifically ask for it on the outside. I have no photo of this
since the samples were sent as they are normally sold with the shrink on the
outside. So, my heat shrink "cutaway" photo is NOT how the heat shrink will
be. It is simply to show about how they will look. In reality the heat
shrink will go well inside the barrel down over the strain relief and almost
all the way to the male threads on the inside. This adds significant
strength to the cable. Sorry if this was not clear..
Oh, and congratulations to Russell Brower. As the first one to order
cables, he receives free shipping. :)

The way I make my cables (got the idea from Wacky K) is to crimp the strain
relief on the cable, and then slide the shrink up the cable, over the strain
relief, and up to the male threaded portion. This adds considerably to the
strength of the connection.
