Thanks everyone for the warm welcome(s)!  I had to go out of town after my first post last thurs. - only to return today to a whole bunch of helpful and inquiring offlists!   - guess I had better watch out for what I ask about next time...lol.

I'll be getting back to everyone as time permits this weekend -

Larry - I'm definitely interested in the cables.  I've made about 8 billion of them thus far for my studio and it wouldn't upset me to never have to do it again.   And now with my evolving 'wall of madness', I'm gonna need a whole bunch.  Count me in.

For whatever its worth:  the colors should probably be coded for their intended synthesis purpose...audio, CV, modulation, etc...?!?!  - at least that how I would go about it.  Then again, a rainbow of colors would look great too..especially if you're not worried about debugging a patch (with 50 cables, etc) and tracing signals and all...  But more importantly on the heatshrink: it should go on the inside of the jack - that way you wouldn't have to  destroy it if the cable needed to be fixed .   I'm definitely glad to hear this whole thing's happening with Neutrik cables - they are quite good!

I'd better get to doing some personal responses.

Thanks again everyone,

Rog
