Subject: A Big Thank You...

Again I must tip my hat to Larry and Dave for a job well done on the latest run of "stooge panels". Thank you, gents! Part of the reason for MOTM popularity is due to the availability of key components necessary to do one-off modules. I commend Paul for his restraint and tolerance of such activities on this list. The Synthesis Technology MOTM isn't perfect, but it sure beats the crap out of anything in second place. Not discouraging "compatible" modules and one-offs also deserves a special thanks to Paul... thank you, kind sir!
Way OT...
Moses Horwitz (Moe), Jerome Horwitz (Curly), and Sam Horwitz (Shemp) were brothers in real life and hailed from Brooklyn. Louis Fienberg (Larry) was the only non-Horwitz stooge, and was from Philly. This has absolutely nothing to do with synths but since I was in stooge mode, I thought I'd share. Well, the 3 stooges are musically related... think I'll try to find "Microphonies" - one of the best of the stooge shorts.
Then there was Joe Besser, a part-time stooge. Remember him? And there was also Curly-Joe DeRita, another part-time stooge. So if someone is looking for a stooge moniker for this list, "Joe" and "Curly-Joe" are available (apparently).
February 18th, 2003 at 8:00PM on NBC there will be a stooge special. Oh yeah, "Three Stooges Beer" is back on the market along with a "Curly Light" beer: Panther Brewing Company, somewhere in MA (Boston?) makes it.
Cheers!

PS So when is the next panel run? I have a couple more already drawn up...
