Subject: midi LFO module

Hey guys. I'm mostly a lurker and have just sent off a check for my
first sytem to Paul (woohoo!!!). Anyway I know you all love to
brainstorm so here is an idea I was kicking around earlier...
I was playing with my evolver earlier tonight (very cool mono synth
from Dave Smith). It has 4 LFO's which can be sync'd up to the
sequencer, and the seq can be sync'd to MIDI clock. Which ends up
giving you 4 midi controled LFO's. My music sometimes contains a
lot of Polyrhythmic blips, sweeps etc (3's over 4's, 9's over 5's
you get the idea). The cool thing with the evovler is you can setup
one LFO to vary Resonance, one to sweep the filter, one for tremelo,
the last for osc sync sweeps. Give them their own subdivision of
the main tempo and they all groove together.
I think I read somewhere that Paul was going to make available an
Update to the MIDI-CV converter (or maybe it was the Seq) that would
allow MIDI clocked LFO's. If this doesn't come to pass what about
another 600 series module that would do just that. 4 or 6 LFO's
with a switch for each to control shape and another switch or knob
to adjust the division of the incoming midi signal: whole note, 1/2,
1/4, 1/4T (quarter note triplet) etc.
This seems like a neat module to me. Whaddaya ya'll think?
