From previous messages posted on this list in the last two years it
became clear to me that Paul did consider modules above 200$ just
like "taboo modules" for the point policy, I remember once he wrote
that a Vco couldn't be cumulated with a less expensive module up to
400 $ with 20 points, I don't see the reason for this but it seems
that Elhardt could get this opportunity and I'm glad for him of
course.. but nobody had ever asked Paul to invent a points policy, he
did it to encourage and he set the rules so I think he should be more
precise in specifying what he really wants to do, i.e. aware of the
implicit limitations, since I have 11 points I'm waiting to reach 20
and get two free 440s, I think this is possible, and I didn't even
think of buying a 389$ module with a 50%off with my 11 points though
it would be more convenient to me at the moment because I got from
the messages that Paul would say :"No, this is not possible" but if
we want to be very strict "any module" means "any module" and I
perfectly understand that people who have purchased a lot of modules
like I think Joe Pavone did feel to be more limited by the points
policy while they should be worthy of more encouragement.
Still I'd suggest to give more than one point to very expensive
modules. Enrico (Italy)
