Subject: Using the 410

My 410 is one of the least used modules in my modular because I
can't figure out how to control it. I've read the manual over and
over but I still don't understand this module. When it comes time
to use it, I always get cools sounds out of it, but not in a
repeatable way. I just ending up tweaking and tweaking....

Can anyone suggest how they get the most out of their 410? I've
been using cv control to try to get filter sweeps that move with the
input, but I'm still missing something. I have read that the rate
and depth cv inputs act as an offset to the rate and depth pots on
the filter. I also read that the sweep pot becomes an attenuator
when cv is applied.

I understand their is an oakley module that provides some extra
functionality for the 410 but I want to see what I can get out of it
on its own before trying to upgrade it.

Thanks,
-Matt
