Hi gang,
The FFB is AWESOME! I was skeptical of its sound "before I heard it". Once I
got to preview the sound of my own synth patch through the prototype at NAMM
I was sold. It was panel-less and in fine form. Lots of soldering on the
board.
Sound? With all knobs fully up it sounds basically the same between "Bypass"
and "On". Imagine the best of results using a Hipass combined with a Lowpass
and having all these fun bands to use in between. I was really hurting to
run a drum loop through it but I just didn't have a way to play one through.
For vocals this is the ultimate EQ sound and can really be usefull to cut
unwanted frequencies. SOLD AMERICAN! Put one on your want list cause its
worth the hype. I won't even get into the sequencer HA! That is a whole
other rant for later,
Thomas White
PS. Thanks to Paul and all at the booth in NAMM, it was super fun to talk
with you guys since my wife and friends don't translate "Modular Greek" yet.
