OFFICIAL SYNTHTECH CABLES ??

Sorry, I hate to shout. BUT, I am damn excited about NEW patch cables for
MOTM. One of my goals at NAMM was too hook up with cable manufacturers and
see if I could do something to replace the now failed Wacky Kovacy cable
service with something much better. Personally, I have 200 Neutrik 1/4
plugs laying here and I cannot bear the thought soldering all those cables
for my own use. So, I am out to buy cables instead

Here is the scoop. I visited 4 separate cable vendors. I told them each I
was looking for 1000 patch cables in the 2, 3 and 4 foot range of various
cable colors and heat shrink colors. I easily found 8 different cable
colors. And, I found about 25 different colors / patterns of that very cool
cloth covered cable made by Belden. I got some VERY competitive generic
quotes. I plan to send out requests for quotes to these vendors soon. Here
is what I am thinking:

I will be limiting connectors to Switchcraft 180s or the Neutrik same size
equivalent.
I will be accepting only the top brands of cable.
All cables will have heat shrink, probably covering the plug (you have seen
that)
Heat shrink will probably have the Synth Tech name and logo or MOTM or ??
I am thinking Synth Tech Logos as I want to convince Paul to pay a very
small portion of each cable to have his name on them. Maybe this will lower
the cost to you a few cents per cable.
Cables and heat shrink will be available in a high variety of colors so that
color combinations could exceed 50 types easily.
I will be looking at cloth-like and non cloth colors.
I want to have 3 or 4 standard lengths. I am thinking 2, 3 and 4 foot.

I want to bring these in at a good price. I have one vendor who has already
committed to a price that I could sell for under $6 each (and make enough
profit to be worth my time) for a mix of those 3 lengths.

So, here is what I need from you:

If you are interested in participating in a large group buy of cables, send
me an e-mail. Tell me this:
How many cables might you be interested in. That's not a commitment or
limit, just to get an idea so I can have an estimate for the quote requests.
If you are interested in varied colors of cable and heat shrink or just
black
If you are, or are not, interested in the cool retro looking cloth look.
If you are OK with heat shrink about 6 inches long covering the plug and up
the cable.
If you are OK with Synth Tech name / Logo. Do you prefer MOTM?

If enough of you are interested, I will make a large group purchase of these
cables. If it goes well, maybe I will even put some in stock. Maybe the
initial price for those who are on the initial order might be better than
the out of stock price? Maybe those ordering in the initial order could
even pick their own color / heat shrink combinations.

All this is speculation at this time. But, I know I can buy nice cables at
Wacky Kovacy price if I can buy a large enough quantity.

So, let me near from you. It will be up to you to see if this happens.
