Why don't we all use a custom made cable, (or synthtech can easily
make it), and use an ordinary 1/4 stereo jack, three poles are enough
for MIDI IN and looks or mounting won't be a problem.. it might seem
strange to read "MIDI IN" in a jack plug but, since we are not going
to patch and repatch these kind of MIDI connections, this solution
might be very simple.
