Since it's fairly quiet today, I'll volunteer to pollute the bandwidth with more questions.
First of all, did anyone notice (care?) that Buchla seems to be testing the modular waters again with a few new modules? Supposedly to take care of some old business, but I'll be if they sold well we'd see more... check them out at http://www.buchla.com/BarberShoppe/index.htm the prices aren't for the faint of heart at US $1,300 ~ 1,500 per module.
The question I have after recently reading "Analog Days" [recommended] is this: why wasn't Paul interviewed regarding the Radio Shack/Moog project? <g> No that's not the real question.
Suzanne Ciani mentions something I'd read before: Buchla had a sequencer that some describe as "3D." What was it, does anyone know? Was it a sequencer sequencing other sequencers? Like what we would call a "pattern sequencer" today? For instance, one UEG stepping between eight others?
Whenever anyone describes the Buchla machines, it's always in flowery prose with no details. I'd like to know what that machine was like, but it never even had a manual, so unless someone has experience with one...
