Yea, that's his real hair style; but it looks more like a pineapple in person. He's Eric Gottesman, member of a band called "C:\", or "See Colin Slash", whichever you perfer. He's fairly active in the SF "industrial / gothic" scene.

And yes, he's most DEFINATELY a goofball.

Who's that goofball with the hair that looks like a splash of brown water
flying up in the air?

It's probably a wig. He really looks like Paul S and John B on top.
<snicker> :)

Actually, as a parent of past teenagers always looking for a way to express
their individuality, I found that they could be as wild as they wanted with
hair style and it was a good "non-destructive" outlet. Besides, I seem to
remember back in the early 70s I had what adults were calling ridiculous
looking hair (cause there was so much of it on a boy). Sound familiar to
any other old farts?

My youngest son, who is very fair skinned, blonde, white boy, roomed at
college for some time with a nice African-American friend. So, we went
through the "complete shave" and the "braids with beads." He eventually
figured out that some things just looked better on his room mates head than
his. :)

So, I look at crazy hair on young people these days and smile knowing they
are just doing their thing in a manner that doesn't hurt anyone (but causes
some of us to need dark sunglasses).
