Tough one. One of my favorite MOTM modules is the quad lfo. If you
take the summed out and vary each lfo's rate ∗just a tiny bit∗ with
respect to each other, you can get some lovely modulations. Plus you
can get up to 4 separate lfos from a 1U module. Only SIN and TRI
though.
The uLFO is very cool, too. You get two separate LFOs again in 1U
but you also get SQR out and different rate ranges. Lots of fun
packed into a 1U package.
All that said, since this is your first, I would definitely recommend
the 2U 320. The SYNC, FM, and SHAPE cvs are so useful and
interesting, plus you get 4 wave shapes at once: SIN, TRI, SAW, and
SQR. It's a challenge to build, almost on par with the 300, but it's
probably the best LFO module of the bunch.
