I am a firm believer in the free market and am very happy to see that it has
produced the greatest variety of analog modular equipment ever available at
such reasonable prices. I thank Paul and John both for their contributions.
I own and enjoy products from both. However, let me say that anyone that
thinks I am stupid enough to insert myself here, in-between, has me confused
with some other really dumb stooge. The Stooge Panel mission statement was
to support DIYers with professional MOTM matching panels and to make MOTM
matching panels available on a limited number for other modules to
supplement the MOTM experience (READ: modules Paul does not / will not make,
or modules that are so far down the Paul's to-do list that we cannot see the
light). Maybe a sequencer fits that description. Stooge panels were never
designed to introduce competition on this list between vendors. That has
not changed. Don't expect it to either.
The next stooge panel run will start in early 2003. I'm having one hell of
a time just getting through this one.
