I'm finally back in town. We laid my father to rest yesterday. He had a
long and rewarding life. We are celebrating his life and his coming
afterlife. I got my stitches out last week. I get my splint off in one
more week. After some physical therapy, life may begin to return to normal
in a few weeks. However, the condition of my right thumb now qualifies me
for a new nick-name -- "stubby."

Thanks to everyone who sent kind words over the last 3 weeks on both of
these challenges in my life. Typing is still a bit of a challenge and I
will not be able to acknowledge each of them personally as I wish I could.
Still, I certainly appreciate each of them.

I came home to find a note from the panel painter. I will be picking up
painted panels this coming week and shipping them to the printer for the
last leg of their journey before we can start shipping to you. I am sorry
that we are behind schedule (sigh). But, finding the right people to do
some of this work "on the side" is the only way to keep prices down. So, we
have to tolerate some interruption to process now and then.
