I am pretty quiet on the list, however I am shamelessly plugging a band that I
have worked with and shared synth toys with to help make them "soon to be
famous." ;) It is American SynthPop at its finest, ala: Erasure, Mouse on Mars,
High Llamas, DM, Heaven 17, etc you get the picture. They are great people,
and put on a fun show. If you can make it you will not be let down. Tell them
Aaron sent you!! I doubt it will get you anyting free....but then again... you
might and they may just charge it to my card.....

Much is going on in venus hum's world. we've just come back from a tour of
the u.k. (and ibiza- check out the manumission show review in this weeks
nme!). while in the u.k. we shot a video for 'hummingbirds', and will be
releasing the 'hummingbirds ep' in the states on september 22nd. we'll be
following up the release with a tour of the states. i'm happy to tell all
of the kind folks from the northwest (especially seattle and portland) that
have been begging us to come out your way that it's finally going to happen!
the u.s. tour starts in october and you can check out the dates below!

this weekend we're heading back to england for another string of dates.
