It's also better to do the Monte Method (you learn what that means when you
get on the list :)

Look for the Oxford 911 chip.

Glyph is a huge ripoff.

Please review the following pointers and rules for daw-mac

1. Don't try do be the admin of this list. If you have any comments, please
e-mail the Administrator at mailto:daw-mac-owner@yahoogroups.com

2. If there is anything about the content of the post or if you have
concerns or comments about the list itsef, contact me
(mailto:daw-mac-owner@yahoogroups.com). - NOT THE LIST

3. If you feel you need to include OT: in the subject, post it to the
DAW-MAC-OT-list, not DAW-MAC. This list is for discussing
digital audio recordings on Macintosh and the gear you need to do it.

4. Please try to be civilized. There are people who get offended by foul
language.

5. Please try to use correct language... for non-native english readers,
thing such as "4", "U",and "l8er" can be somewhat confusing and hard to
understand.

6. It is okay to use correct grammar.

7. There is no official DAW-MAC language, but since most people on this
list speak / read / write english, one stands a better chance
of getting an answer if the posts are in english.

8. DON'T use HTML in your posts. It might work in single mode, but the
digests do not look OK when HTML is used. ( I will e-mail
people when this happens. Please don't make any comments regarding this on
the list.

9. I's okay to agree to disagree. The world isn't black & white. There are
shades of mauve.

10. Advertising of non-DAW-related stuff is not OK. Professional audio
equipment is OK. The coffee-maker in the studio is not OK. Using DAW-Mac to
try to boost your on-line-auction, is NOT OK.

11. Commercial DAW-related advertisments are allowed after asking
permission and getting an OK from the admin. In general announcements from
∗manufacturers/developers∗ are generally accepted, AS LONG AS they pertain
to the product itself, and are not an advertising aimed to generate direct
sales, advertise special promotions ,etc. by a retailer, or a vendor
itself,

12. Selling used gear on the list is OK as long as it is closely related to
DAW's and the post has been OK'd by the admin before getting sent to the
list.

13. Virus-warnings are OT. If you feel the need to publish a virus warning,
send it to the admin, and we will check it out, and if we feel the need,
publish it to the list.

14. Posts about politics and/or religion are about as far OFF-topic as it
gets. If someone posts about it, do not post anything to the list, contact
the admin.

99. Failure to comply to these rules can get you a warning or a ban
depending on the severity of the offense and the general mood of the admin.

Best regards,
Bjorn Linden
