OK :) How about designing the 500 modules with both MTA-6 connectors, and
wall wart and MTA-4 connectors, such that:
500-only series owners can use the 950.
Small system owners who already have a +-15 supply can add an inexpensive
wallwart in order to add a 500 module to their system.
"Cabinet" owners could use the 980 PCB, and leave off the MTA-4 connectors
on their 500 modules to avoid trouble.

I thought you said the 950 "is used to power 500 Series ONLY." However, if
it has the room for a few MTA-4 connectors for regular modules that would
be even better.
