Hmmm, if your AC is off, what voltage canyou operate the relay from?  Itsounds like a Catch 22 to me.  Youwould need some sort of standby power, which this class of linear power suppliesdon’t provide.

Would it be possible to have a remotely operated relay on the AC
input, afterthe rear panel power switch, inside a power supply like
theMOTM-900? The relay would be controlled by a switch on the front
panel, sothat the wiring from the power supply to the front panel
carries nopower.

I reallywould like a front panel power switch and power status leds,
with the ACinput on the rear.
