Cermet is almost 10x more temp stable and can about 2x more power, but adds
about 2x more noise and has half the rotation life, than conductive plastic.
Conductive plastic is available in a wider range of values.

Vishay-Spectrol makes these, model 149-S-D-G-64-S-503-S-S (I think). Don't
know who stocks them though. (that last S means solder lugs, not PC
terminals, by the way)
> Larry mentions a Spectrol 148 on his page, what is that??
148 is conductive plastic, 149 is cermet. MOTM uses both.
