I was thinking it might be something like that, but I would think the
sawtooth would then work better than a triangle. However, thinking about the
direction of the sawtooth on an o-scope, it must be the falling edge that
matters.

Actually the freq and res knobs don't have much to do with it. They pretty
much work as expected. The audio comes out a little weak and lethargic
though, but it still works.
