You don't need a special tool, just a very narrow screwdriver. I do
this all the time by just placing the wire across the connector and
then pushing down on one side and then the other with a flat edge
screwdriver that's narrow enough to fit in the hole. Or, if you have
two narrow screwdrivers, you can try doing both sides at once.
