Well, as usual, I can't get into the ^%#$^#& Yahoo site... it tells me left,
right, & center that I don't exist, even though I get an Email from them on
average about every 4 minutes.
So I guess I won't officially register my vote, but it would have been for
#1, the original.
I could almost get behind the "little knob" version, but the knobs look a
little lonely on that 3u. Personally, I would do little knobs on a 2U and
drop the "Bypass" switch and LED completely. I find bypass switches on
individual modules in a modular to be of extremely little use, but I do
realize that some people buy a stray MOTM module as an 'effects box' kind of
thing.
The 3row1 wouldn't be bad if the bands were more sequential. I think that's
what turns me off to some of the variations; a fixed filter bank is, by its
nature, a module whose parameters are so sequentially "stacked" that I
really feel like the knob layout should reflect that, although the Moog look
with the shelving filters to either side isn't a bad idea either. I just
really resist the 4u idea above all else -- That's a LOT of cabinet space to
go to this module.
That's my two pence.
