Thats a MAPLIN Voice Vandal module I got from Canada somewhere. Basically it
is a digital delay/digital ring modulator wave warper and I can never kill
the carrier noise. I have been looking into shorting the Modulators IC to
cut the noise and maybe have a switch to turn it on and off at will. No luck
yet, not really been trying though either.
The thing has:
Delay Time
Delay Rate
Distortion (modulator amount)
Modulator Band select buttons (Low High etc)
Modulator Carrier Frequency
Line In
Mic In (has Pre-amp)
and Out
Cool warper for only 60 bucks and the home made panel. I actually have a
second one I plan to build into a black MOTM panel with proper knob spacing
after I figure out a couple of mods for the kit. Supposedly this kit is to
imitate Daleks and Gritty Voiced Robots from old sci-fi shows but hey! Works
great in the old MOTM
