My opinion has gone back and forth between wanting the all-in-one sequencer
(the 8U miniMoe) and collecting lots of smaller modules, but at the moment
I'm leaning towards the 8U-plus-gate-expander option. I prefer having each
channel of CV knobs in a single row...
Just for laughs, I edited the image of the SuperMoe clock generator into a
simpler 1U clock generator, just rearranging stuff. I took out the dual
clock features (it has just one clock output) and PWM. If PWM is more
important a PWM jack and an initial PW knob could replace FM. Yep, an LFO
could do it too, but there's some extra features, and an LFO is gonna take
some space anyway.
This thing plus the 8U MiniMoe plus the 1U gate/trigger expander would put a
complete setup in 10U, perfect for rack-mounting.
