Hi All!
I had day off yesterday AND the house to myself (wife at work, kids inschool). So I broke out the soldering iron! There’s no better more relaxing wayto spend that kind of day!
I finished my MOTM 310! Works perfectly and sounds great! I used theTuner method (a little Korg CA-20) to calibrate, it zero’d right in! It’s agreat little module…
I also finished my MiniWave (finally)!!! And it works!!!
I used John’s instructions for most of it (I was 90% done before Larryposted his instructions, OK I’m s l o w).
I’ve seen a couple of negative comments on John’s instructions on thelist. Now that I’ve used both John’s and Paul’s (successfully) I’d have to saythat John’s instructions are actually good, they just tend to be written tosomeone who has some electronics experience. All the information you need isthere, you just have to read carefully and think a little harder.
I used Larry’s instructions to verify my work before I dared plug it in.It was really nice to have the ‘Paul’ style to refer back to just to make sure.It really boosted my confidence level just to know that I got it right!!! ThanksLarry!!!
Well, I have 2 hours before I have to go back to work (grumble grumble)…I think I’ll go experiment with the PWM on the 310 and make some noise!!!
