Call me a purist but why create in the MOTM something you can buy readily
off the shelf? i.e. the distortion stomp boxes etc. I'd rather see Paul use
his efforts on designing unique modules or difficult to find stuff than on
recreating what can be had off the shelf.
Yes, Paul I realize the untapped guitar market, but doing Guitar synthesis
is really tough. That's why Roland is possibly the only one who has done it
successfully and even then it is only with samples. I'd rather see those
kind of efforts spent on making unique controllers than on trying to make
Guitar Synths.
In defense though, I realize that running Guitar signals through the Motm
could lead to some really wild sound textures. And being a guitar player too
I think it would be fun.
