Subject: Where's my order?
From: "Paul Schreiber" <synth1@...>
Date: 2002-01-08
Since these emails are coming in at an increased rate (5 in the last hour alone), I thought I'd
respond to the list.
a) I'm getting ready for NAMM, which is all of next week. I was on vacation the previous 2 1/2
weeks.
b) ∗IF∗ I have the time, ∗some modules/kits∗ will be shipped by next Monday. I think that will
happen.
c) Will it be yours? Definitely not, if it's a '300, '310, '320, '700 or '820. Maybe '850s, we
will see.
d) What in the world have I been doing, anyway? Well, how about designing 6 new modules??!? Not
just designing (I have help in that area) but also pcb layout, panel layout and fab, and creating
new NAMM brochures.
e) Also, working on the new website some, the next PDF catalog I have to type and upload over the
weekend (can't go to the show without the new catalog), and shipping 45 assembled modules this
week alone (daily trips to Fed-Ex).
So, if by 5PM Texas time next Monday you don't get an email with the subject "MOTM shipment",
then no, it hasn't/didn't go out, and won't go out until the end of the month.
As far as the new modules go:
1) I will scan and upload the brochure/price list over the weekend (for some reason, PDF won't
translate Publisher files correctly).
2) Only then will I reveal info, and they are NOT FOR SALE until I officially release them.
3) So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not send me "email orders". PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wait until they
are listed on the order form, and use the order form.
4) As previously stated: in order to prevent more backlog issues, I AM NOT going to announce them
until around Feb. 15th. This is for 3 reasons: get the new site up, reduce ∗current backlog∗ 90%,
and kit up 60ea of all new kits FIRST.
Also, the larger kits (ie tons of resistors) will be pre-stuffed (not soldered) with all axial
parts.
Lastly, the MOTM-130 is not forgotten. It's stuck in pcb layout hell.
Sorry, have to go build 6 MOTM-410s.
