Subject: Re: [motm] Roland 184 question

Paul,

I have a Jupiter-4 which, I'm told, is the same design as the 184 but with a 4 voice
synth attached. Tom Morvansky has some mods for the JP4 that allow CV ins and outs
that I have to get done someday... The behavior you describe doesn't match my JP4.
The range of the arpeggio is a function of the octave used. The higher the octave,
the smaller the range. In the top octave, when you hold a single key, you get a 2
note arpeggio. In the next octave down, it is 3 notes, and everything lower is 4
notes.

I hope that helps.
