hello all,
way to go thomas, and pray that you don't end up assembling the best modular
ever in Dr Schreiber's subterranean headquarters - if we don't hear from
you, we'll check our kits for hidden messages - darn blew it
nevermind, a serious question now to all you Roland M-184 owners:
while testing my recently acquired 184, i noticed that i could dispense with
using a 2:1 divider containing within a special cable - instead, while
plugging modules into the 1/4" gate sockets, i noticed that if i plugged one
of those CV monitors (led & 560ohm resistor in series) into the mini-jack,
the voltage output dropped to 2.5v
is there any reason why i shouldn't do this, and can i tailor a set of CV
monitors to give a 5v output at the gate..?
and does this actually make sense..?
cheers
