Subject: YAU (Yet Another Update)

a) Spent last 2 days on the pcb designs for the MOTM-490 uVCF (Moog ladder) and the MOTM-380 Quad
LFO (JH's WiggleBug). These are done, and at fab. Will see them in time to show at NAMM, assuming
no issues. New panels are at the vendor, so if everything goes smoothly I will have 6 new MOTM
modules at NAMM.

b) Have 2 more Christmas present modules to ship tomorrow, and a few kits. Sorry, after that it's
lights out until Jan. 7th. Then it's back to normal full-tilt-boogie.

c) The new modules will not be 'announced' for sale until late Feb. I'm going to flush the ENTIRE
backlog first. Then, I can get 200 modules behind :)

d) The MOTM-130 dual VCA is also in the works. The pcb layout is daunting. I plan to work on it
over the 'break'. Then I can work on the MOTM-480 filter, which is in the same ballpark.

For these 2 modules, I am leaning heavily on having the axial parts (resistors, ceramic caps,
diodes) pre-stuffed and cinched, but NOT soldered. Each of these designs has close to 100 axial
parts. NO WAY I'm counting 100 parts into a bag. So, for not too much $$$ I'll just have them
stuffed by machine. Then, for assembled orders the time is 1/10th to finish. Don't worry, you can
still solder the parts and insert the ICs and pots and wires like always.

e) Didn't quite ship 1200 modules this year, but got close! But had about 54 new customers from
last year. year-to-year shipments went up 46%.

f) MOTM-310s 1st week of Jan. I did ship ∗2∗ assembled ones (no manual!).

Thanks again to everyone! MOTM is escalating more and more. I did sell a system to "a famous
person" who has agreed to endorse it. Said famous person is known as a guitarist, but has an ARP
2500 and a small Moog 12 modular. I'll announce day before NAMM (famous people have great
lawyers).
