Stooge panels are at the printer and I expect we will have them next week to
start sorting, drilling, and packaging. While I had hoped originally for a
before Christmas USA delivery, this is not a good time of year at the post
office. But, I was at least "close."

There has been a delay in shipping the non-screened part of the orders for
two reasons:
1 - I am having to re-cut hundreds of holes so that I will be sure your end
caps fit, regardless of racks. Some of them have fit perfectly, a few have
not. So much for a "standard" rack.
2 - my real job has been a totally consuming my time so I can get things
wrapped up before I quit working for this year. I plan for Friday, 12/14 to
be my last workday of day-gig for 2001.

So, I am working on it, and plan for everything to be shipped as soon as
possible.

I will soon be updating my website "brackets" page. Brackets are now
available in 4 stock sizes. In addition to the "4-pot-wide" long and short,
I now have the "3-pot-wide" long and short. This will mean less cutting for
some of those smaller PCBs. I will post some photos soon. ANY feedback
about which bracket you guys use with which PCB when doing retro-fits would
be greatly appreciated. Photos are nice too. :) I can add that info to
the webpage so people know which bracket is best to order. BTW, Stooge
brackets will start appearing in some of the micro-series MOTM modules.

All brackets are the same price. So, if you currently have some on order,
and want to change the mix of what you want to be shipped, just drop me a
e-mail note. But, do it quickly, because I will be shipping soon. I now
have literally hundreds of brackets in stock. So, they will be available
anytime. The same is true for end caps and flat rails. I don't plan to let
them run out.

Thanks to everyone who has purchased stuff this year from me or from Dave
and me. We appreciate the patience when things were going slow on all those
"prepaid" orders. If you have any problem with anything, don't hesitate to
drop me a note. Your satisfaction on these accessories is guaranteed.

Lastly, if you are building 822s or 831s, please be sure to read the
assembly instructions well. Lots of things that were commonly discussed on
the list about these a year ago may be new news to recent members.
Everything you need to know and watch out for is there in the instructions.
