IMPORTANT-READCAREFULLY: This MOTM End-User License Agreement (''EULA'') is a legal agreementbetween you (either an individual or a single entity) and Synthtech for the Synthtechproduct(s) accompanying this EULA, which include(s) MOTM Kits and may include"online" or electronic documentation, associated media, and printedmaterials (''MOTM PRODUCT''). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the MOTMPRODUCT or any UPDATES (as defined below), you agree to be bound by the termsof this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install,copy, or otherwise use the MOTM PRODUCT; you may, however, return it to yourplace of purchase for a full refund. In addition, by installing, copying, orotherwise using any updates or other components of the MOTM PRODUCT that youreceive separately as part of the MOTM PRODUCT (''UPDATES''), you agree to bebound by any additional license terms that accompany such UPDATES. If you donot agree to the additional license terms that accompany such UPDATES, you maynot install, copy, or otherwise use such UPDATES.
MOTMPRODUCT LICENSE The MOTM PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and internationalcopyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.The MOTM PRODUCT is licensed, not sold. NOTE: The terms of a printed, paperEULA which may accompany the MOTM PRODUCT supersede the terms of any on-screenEULA found within the MOTM PRODUCT.
1. LICENSE TO USE MOTM PRODUCT. 1.1 GeneralLicense Grant. Synthtech grants to you as an individual, a personal,nonexclusive license to make and use copies of the MOTM PRODUCT for the solepurposes of designing, developing, and testing your Synthtech product(s) thatare designed to operate in conjunction with any Synthtech system product. Youmay not install copies of the MOTM PRODUCT in an unlimited number of cabinets thatyou are the only individual using the MOTM PRODUCT. If you are an entity, Synthtechgrants you the right to designate one individual within your organization tohave the sole right to use the MOTM PRODUCT in the manner provided above. 1.2 Documentation. This EULA grants you, as anindividual, a personal, nonexclusive license to make and use an unlimitednumber of copies of any documentation, provided that such copies shall be usedonly for personal purposes and are not to be republished or distributed (eitherin hard copy or electronic form) beyond the user's premises and with thefollowing exception: you may use documentation identified in the MOTM Libraryportion of the MOTM PRODUCT as the file format specification for solely inconnection with your development of synthesizer product(s) that operate inconjunction with MOTM or Synthtech that are not general purpose products or an integratedwork or product suite whose components include one or more general purpose musicalproducts. Note: A product that includes limited wave processing, electroniccomponents along with other components that provide significant and primaryvalue, such as an wavemangling product with limited LFO capability, is notconsidered to be a "general purpose" product. 1.3 Storage Use. You may also store or install acopy of the MOTM PRODUCT on a storage device, such as a SKB case used only toinstall or run the MOTM PRODUCT on systems used by a licensed end user inaccordance with Section 1.1. A singlelicense for the MOTM PRODUCT may not be shared or used concurrently by otherend users. 1.4 Studio-Effect ofEULA. This Section 1.4 also applies if the MOTM PRODUCT is a suite ofdevelopment tools and other synthesizer programs (each such tool or softwareprogram, a "Component"). Components that you receive as part of the MOTMPRODUCT may include a separate end-user license agreement (each, a"Component EULA").
