Subject: Another MOTM-390 uLFO idea

I had another idea for the mini-lfo, this time four pots, four jacks:

(Rate )

( FM )

(Shape)

(Width)

() ()
FM in Shape In

() ()
Width In Out

Rate and FM are what you'd expect, controlling the frequency of a triangle
LFO. The Shape and Width pots/jacks control a waveshaper similar to what's
used in the '300 for shaping triangles into sines. Shape affects input
level and bias current to vary the waveform continuously from triangle
through sine to pulse while Width offsets the input, which affects the pulse
width, and makes other interesting asymmetric waveforms when the shape is
other than pulse.

I fooled around with shaping a triangle from a 320 with a ca3080 and got a
variety of interesting modulations out of it, so I think its feasible... so
much for the evening's other plans :-)
