I dreamed of getting a Quantec since I first heard it on Mike Oldfield's
"Crisis" album. Later I saw Peter Gabriel demonstrating it on his Secret
World
Tour ("Slow Marimbas"). Today, Quantec offer a DSP-based successor called
"Yardstick" which offers the same reverb quality, but which has a limited
user interface and (strange enough) not all of the original's parameters.
