Subject: End cap fitting

Well, I found the carbide tipped tool I was looking for today to fix the fit
on some end caps. Tonight, I will begin the process of turning all of the
15/64" round holes into 1/4" slots with about 1/16" side-to-side width.
This change will result in an additional 3/16 inch of total slop to allow a
perfect fit for a variety of rack variations.

This change will result in a slight delay shipping the remaining caps /
brackets / PCB that I planned to ship out Monday. But, I will feel better
knowing that they will be certain to fit most any rack. I will post a
couple of before and after photos later tonight to the MOTM list I guess
since my website seems to have temporarily fallen victim to the judges order
allowing @home to cut service to their downstream cable companies.

To those of you who have received your end caps already, if they do not fit
to your satisfaction, please return them to me and I will fix them right up.
The slot (like the hole) will not be visible from the front as any typical
Phillips head rack screw will be plenty wide to cover. So, this change will
not detract from the appearance.

No end caps should still be in postal transit. So, if you have not received
your end caps yet, you will get the "new and improved" version
automatically.

Larry (off to hang Christmas lights then start cutting 600 + holes).
