Subject: FW: [motm] using the 700 for audio

I've noticed the same issue. Perhaps it would be possible to create a mod for the 700 that enables control over a short 'ramp time' for the switching (just 1 or 2 ms would be plenty I suspect). I've used a software-based effect that's conceptually similar to the 700, and a switchable ramp time is the solution there to the same problem. Works like a charm, but of course that's software... creating that in hardware might be complicated.

Subject: [motm] using the 700 for audio

Hoping to get some suggestions:
Using the 700 for switching between cv's is great and is something that I
can easily do nicely.  However, switching between audio (say, between 2
300's) is something that I haven't been able to master, as of yet (yes, I
use the 'audio' switches on the 700). The main problem I encounter is an
audible 'click' when the switch occurs.

Any suggestions?  Maybe not running the 300's directly into the 700 but,
say, after filtering with an envelope that is set for a shorter duration
than the 'switching time' on the 700?

Thanks, Jeff
