I apologize if this is OT for the motm list (let me know Paul), but I
thought I would try my trusty motm colleages first since I know that there
is a lot of good expertise here.

Victim: Korg sd400 analog delay

Symptoms: Does not power up: Worked fine one evening, the next, nothing.

Evaluation so far: After opening up the unit, the fuse looks ok (but
the ends of the fuse appear to be encased in not very clear plastic and
the fuse ends might be soldered directly to the wires from the pushbutton
switch - I can't see the connections clearly without opening up the
plastic). 'On' power light does not light. Transformer does not become
warm after having the pushbutton in 'on' position for 15 min. Could it be
the switch (but this did not show any intermittent problems previously -
mechanically it visually appears to work)?

Being a novice at this stuff, this is as far as I can confidenctly go
without further assistance. I have a DVM.
Any suggestions appreciated.
