Well, it's not a mod anyway. For all intents and purposes it's a separate
module. It will generate triggers from any stepped voltage.

That's a good point. Besides having a feature hidden is better than not
having it at all.

I think it's a great idea since Loop never reaches stage 8. If you want to
give all four jacks a function in Loop mode how about this:

Step -- loop runs continuously, trigger on each stage
Finish -- new loop begins only if gate input is high, trigger on each stage
Release -- loop runs continuously, trigger only on last stage of loop
