I have one of these. As far as I am concerned they are as nice as SKB for a
lot less money. They do have rails front and rear (so do SKB now too), but
they are somewhat different than the SKB. Like the SKB, they have the large
holes that required some kind of insert for the threads for the 10/32
screws. You could use the same spring nut things (whatever the hell they
are called) like SKB. But the rack is actually supplied with a long flat
bar with holes drilled and tapped in all the right spots. Once you put the
two screws in the end holes, it holds the rail in place for all the other
holes. I think they are nice racks for the money. I did buy mine from
rondo and found them to be a good company to deal with.

Subject: [motm] new case resource?
hiya.
i've stumbled upon a company that makes skb-like cases, except they have
∗rear rack rails∗! this means that we can reclaim those three spaces taken
up by the power supply, or have a doublesided modular, which could get
interesting...
anyway, the company is "team/essex" and they are distributed by rondo
music. here's an url:

does anyone have one of these? are they good? i've never heard of them
before, so i'm wary...
bleep.
out.
