You can create a shepard like effect bu modulating an osc from two LFOs with
opposing sawtooth waves running at about the same speed. You can do this
with MOTM oscs and lfos because of the dual mod sources and selectable saw
shape on the lfo.. This was descrobed a while back in a post to this list
and also is my favorite thing to patch on a mood sonic 6.
