For those of you didn't know, Sound On Sound (SOS) now releases an
international version. Basically no advertisements and subscriptions prices
are all in US dollars.

Well, SOS has been running an EXCELLENT series entitled "Synth Secrets" in
their Technique/Sound Synthesis section. The May 2001 issue is up to Part
#25, "Synthesizing Brass Instruments." Recommended/required reading for all
true analog modular synthesists out there. I don't think there is anyone
out there that wouldn't learn from the series. Although some of the topics
might be of more interest than others.

I have a question about this article, although you don't necessarily need to
see the article to know the answers.

I am (obviously) trying to recreate in the Grande Land of MOTM.

This is a pretty involved patch. It has 1 VCO, 5 EGs, 1 NS, 5 Mixers of
various types, 7 VCAs and a lot more. The 7 VCAs is what gets me. Is this
really necessary on the MOTM??? Is typical of large patches? Especially
simulations?

I will save my other questions for later.

Thanks!
Shemp

P.S. All of the SOS artcles are online. But they are hard to find and do
include pics. The latter point almost makes them useless IMO.
