Subject: Name that web site - WAS: [motm] Wiard/Blacet......MOTM!!

From: "J. Larry Hendry" <jlarryh@...>

For some reason, the graphics are not working on the mirror of my site as listed by Todd below.  Best to go to:

I have been a schmuck about getting a domain server name for my site.  I have decided to change that.  There are lots of great names still available.  Larrys-diy being at the top of my list so far.  However, I am open to suggestions.  MOTM-diy is not taken.  However, my site is not limited to MOTM, and that seems to be partially an unregistered trademark of someone we all know and love.

Anyhow, subscribing to the theory that 2 heads are better than one and one hundred even better than that, how about a "name that web site" contest?   I will be the sole judge and select the winner.  A prize you say?  Sure.  How about a JLH-831 voltage shifting PCB and DIY custom mounting bracket?  And, free shipping to boot.  That's a $22 value for the winner.  If the winner already owns a 831 module, I will substitute a 100% functional dual reversing attenuator prototype module with MOTM quality pots and jacks, ready to mount into a 1U panel or to stick into some small open spot elsewhere. (831 owners only).

For those of you who missed it or are new to the list...

John has said everything is still on track (although no dates yet).  And Grant has confirmed that other colabortive modules are in the works.

The bulk of the story is here:

Cheers!
Todd
Psyched to read (on the wiard site) that Grant Richter and Mr John Blacet
seem to be working together to get a few "weird" modules released eventually
in frac format, starting with the Mini Wave..  Hopefully there will be
stripped down kits for us MOTM converters!!!
